As a survivor myself, I know just how important emotional & financial support are while you're undergoing and recovering from treatment. I decided The CARE Project, Inc. was a missing link in my own community. There are a lot of Nationwide breast cancer organizations whom do good work raising awareness and providing exams/scans, etc. There wasn't a very personal organization that provides mentors, support groups, survivor socials AND financial assistance for everyday necessities. We aim to fill in that gap for Southern California patients, with an emphasis on the Inland Empire. - Carrie
